Drug makers have a duty to ensure that their drugs are not unreasonably dangerous and have adequate warnings about the possible side effects and injuries. You trust that the drugs are safe and effective. No one should ever be injured because the drug makers failed to provide all the facts about their prescription medications.

Defective Medical Device

With greater frequency, we undergo surgery to have artificial devices implanted to restore us to full and complete health, not further injury. You have a right to expect no less from a manufacturer. Yet, inadequate testing or improper follow-up by the device manufactures often lead to further pain, suffering, and possible death.

Negligence is not an “accident” but an individual or corporation simply choosing the less safe way to do, or not do something. When an injury occurs because of another’s negligence, you are allowed under the law to be compensated for those losses of income, pain and suffering, or death.

The Law Offices of Terence J. Sweeney is dedicated to representing and protecting individuals who have been injured by harmful and defective drugs, from malpractice by a physician, nurse, or hospital, and by the negligence of others. I intentionally limit the number of cases I accept so that every client receives the personal and proper attention he or she deserves.
